Traineeships in Queensland

Under a QLD traineeship, the QLD Government pays the major contribution towards the cost of the course and both the employer and student will be required to pay a contribution.

The fees for the relevant qualification are detailed below.

More information about traineeships and apprenticeships, including eligibility can be found on the Department of Trade, Employment and Training website.

What you will pay

Student fees are based on units of competency in the Qualification.

Student contribution fees are calculated once the training plan has been negotiated, as each unit is different, and there are no fees payable for credit transfer.

Fees for elective units will be added to the standard training plan once they are applied for and confirmed with the student.

We understand that some students will be financially disadvantaged and will not be able to proceed with their traineeship if they have to pay the fees. In these cases, we will help the student apply for an exemption of fees. Ask our training team for more details.

For more information about costs associated with traineeships, visit the Department of Trade, Employment and Training website.
