Laura has 7+ years of experience working with adults and young people presenting with:

• Chronic health conditions, and

Laura completed her doctorate in health psychology in 2015. She has extensive experience providing mental health support and vocational counselling to young people and adults. Laura has a particular interest in supporting people with an intellectual disability, learning difficulties, neurodiversity, and chronic health needs.
Laura has experience with working with adults and young people with complex physical and mental health concerns. She has provided counselling in a range of different settings including employment services, schools, workplaces, hospitals, and has experience working in early intervention settings and disability supported accommodation. Laura uses a holistic approach to understanding health and provides interventions to support people with mental health needs.
Laura has experience in providing psychological first aid to children, young people, and adults. She has worked to support communities to recover from natural disasters including bushfires and floods.
