Virtual Reality (VR) is changing the way we tackle chronic pain, and it’s helping our customers like Lynne improve their quality of life.

Lynne, a former medical transcriptionist, has lived with chronic pain from multiple health conditions, including osteoarthritis in her hands. Her pain worsened after leaving her career, affecting not only her ability to work but also her everyday activities, like dancing, which she loved.

While chronic pain is one of the most common challenges we see in our DES customers, Lynne’s story shows how MAX Health’s innovative 10-week VR Pilot Program—based on 25 years of research from leading chronic pain expert Dr. Lorimer Moseley—is making a difference. Lynne approached the program with optimism and is now learning to manage her pain more effectively by training both her mind and body through VR.

Although Lynne isn't seeking to return to her previous career, MAX Health has helped her transition into a new role as a nanny. By managing her chronic pain, Lynne is not only thriving in her new job but also enjoying a better quality of life overall.

At MAX Health, we’re using cutting-edge solutions like VR to help our customers take control of their chronic pain and thrive, whether it’s in the workplace or in their personal lives.
