MAX Solutions to deliver Skills Advice to promote growth for Australian Business

MAX Solutions will support Australian business by providing Skills Advisers as part of the Government’s Industry Skills Fund (ISF) programme.

MAX Solutions Skills Advisers will deliver services in NSW, ACT and WA

The Australian Government has announced MAX Solutions will support Australian businesses through the provision of Skills Advisers in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia as part of the Government’s Industry Skills Fund (ISF) programme.

MAX Solutions Managing Director Deborah Homewood said the organisation was excited to be able to build upon its support for local employers and businesses.

“Through the ISF Skills Adviser Network, small and medium sized businesses will now have the best chance of developing their skilled workforce and taking advantage of growth opportunities.

“The MAX Solutions Skills Advisers will help businesses identify their training requirements by providing a review of their skills needs to assist employers increase their competitiveness for identified growth opportunities as well as providing assistance with training grant applications if needed.


“It’s a win for Australian businesses and their employees. Staff will have the chance to upskill and meet the needs of the local labour market, and smaller businesses can become competitive in a global economy,” Ms Homewood said.

The Industry Skills Fund was launched in January 2015 with the aim of assisting industry to invest in training and support services and to develop innovative training solutions.

The Fund will help build a highly skilled workforce that can take advantage of new business growth opportunities and adapt to rapid technological change.

“Often smaller enterprises can struggle to keep up with digital change and technological demands due to lack of resource or expertise.

“MAX Skills Advisers will be able to assist businesses develop innovative training solutions and adjust to advances and developments in technology,” Ms Homewood said.

Ms Homewood said MAX Solutions’ wide network of employer connections leaves the organisation well positioned to provide advice and support to local employers.

“Our links with industry bodies and business networks will mean our Skills Advisers will be able to capture and share labour market information, helping businesses with business model planning,” she said.

The Industry Skills Fund (fund) is a key element of the Australian Government’s strategy to boost business productivity and increase competitiveness across the economy. The fund provides training places and support services for industry.

MAX Solutions will provide eight Skills Advisors in two states and one territory of Australia; four in New South Wales, three in Western Australia and one in the Australian Capital Territory.
