MAX Solutions membership of Supply Nation reinforces commitment to diversity, both within the workforce and procurement process.

MAX Solutions has a long history of working with Indigenous businesses to encourage diversity, employment and support the Closing the Gap targets.  These initiatives include:

  • Partnering with ABC (Aboriginal Biodiversity Conservation) Foundation through Ocean to Outback Employment Services where we are working with remote Indigenous communities in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia.  Since the start of the year, over 150 people in the region have been moved into employment and many others have benefitted from training and other activities that build capability to move into work.

  • Partnering with Midwest Aboriginal Employment and Economic Development Corporation (MEEDAC) through Goldfields Employment and Training Services (GETS) where we are working with remote Indigenous communities to support housing maintenance and construction activities, tourism training programs that help to build the local economy and move people into work.

“MAX Solutions works with over 12,700 Indigenous people through our employment, health, disability, and community development programs.  We see the pain that goes with the disparity in social outcomes for our First Nations People and know we can do more to close the gaps and make sure that every person has every chance,“MAX Solutions Managing Director Deborah Homewood said.

“Our membership of Supply Nation is the next step in our work to close the gaps and support reconciliation through an even greater focus on how we make the most of opportunities to support Indigenous businesses and Indigenous employment.”

Supply Nation Chief Executive Officer Ms Laura Berry said, “e are delighted to welcome MAX Solutions into the Supply Nation community and look forward to working with them to develop their supplier diversity footprint. The measure of our collective success will be in the value of transactions between MAX Solutions and Indigenous businesses”.

Supply Nation connects its membership to Indigenous suppliers to build a vibrant and prosperous Indigenous business sector by incorporating Indigenous owned businesses into the supply chain of Australian companies and government agencies.

Supply Nation’s mission is to facilitate, encourage and promote business between corporate Australia and Government agencies and Indigenous owned businesses.
