Did you catch Series One of Employable Me?
Successful participants from Employable Me Series One.
If you missed Series One of Employable me, that’s okay because the ABC documentary series is back for series two. The first series featured people with neuro diverse conditions such as autism and Tourette syndrome on their journey to meaningful employment.
The makers of the series, Northern Pictures, are currently looking for people with disability who are struggling to find work to take part in the second series.
A spokesperson for the show said the new series will feature people with a range of disabilities, including physical disabilities, and the challenges they face when gaining employment.
“We’re looking for participants who need a chance for employers to see what they can do, rather than concentrating on what they can’t.
“We believe the strength in both the first series and this one is in showing the capable person behind the condition or disability.”
If you are in regional NSW, living with a disability and struggling to find work, email the show’s producers with a snapshot of you, including how you heard about the show and a photo.
