David Youssf appointed to lead MAX Learning

We are delighted to announce that David Youssf, the Managing Director of Victoria based Stirling Institute of Australia, has been appointed as Director of MAX Learning.
Through our MAX Learning business division, we operate two Registered Training Organisations (RTOs): MAX Solutions and Stirling Institute of Australia (which MAX acquired in 2022), delivering training to diverse cohorts of students.
David has over 18 year’s operating experience in the vocational education and training sector, the majority of that time spent in senior leadership, compliance, continuous improvement and client relationship roles.
In his new role, he will oversee all of our training services and operations including continuing his role in running the Stirling Institute of Australia as well as the vocational education and training (VET) operations at MAX.
David said:
“With funding in every state, we’re in a great position to deliver more training to more students in the coming years.
“The labour market is very tight with unemployment still at 3.6%.
“For employers this makes it difficult to hire. And underemployment sits at double that at 6.3%.
“For people looking to upskill, change industries and find new opportunities, training is a fantastic option, especially in some sectors like aged care where demand is increasingly strong for qualified workers.”
MAX also delivers the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) English language and literacy program to thousands of students each year.
Being able to improve your English, no matter what your goals, is central to these programs.
David said:
“Our classrooms have a real sense of unity, with students working together to apply language skills to their own situations and context.
“We also work very closely with local services such as the police, libraries, and health providers to provide links to services that people without English may find more difficult.
“I’m very excited about the way our teams are finding new ways to bring the Skills for Education and Employment program to those who need it, taking digital literacy and applied language out into the community.”
